On my research I find that there are several issues with the Antivirus software when try to install the drivers for the Western Digital hard disk. I suggest that you disable the antivirus software temporarily and check if you are able to install the drivers. Also make sure that you download the right version of drivers. If you like to Hyper-tweek your system you are probably aware that sometimes you can get away with that sort of thing and "improve" things in the bargiain.
